Peter Brett (Stantec)

LOCATION: CAMBRIDGE
SECTOR: BANK
SIZE: 6,783 SQ FT
COST: £325,000

Following the merger between Peter Brett Associates and Stantec, SPACE were selected to design the Cambridge regional office, re-locating from their previous premises into a new CAT-A site in the heart of Cambridge. The constraints of the previous office highlighted the need for new ways of working and the brief given to SPACE outlined the intention to move to an agile working environment. Developing the layout, “neighbourhoods” were created to include hot desks, flexible meeting space, informal meeting spaces and layout spaces to allow for a more collaborative approach between departments. Working closely with senior management, SPACE designed a scheme that overcame issues that were highlighted from the previous premises, incorporating new ways of working and developed the colours and finishes from the new branding following the merger.

Completing the 6,783 sq ft space in 6 weeks marks the 10th project Peter Brett and SPACE have worked on collectively.
