Following on from a successful design and pitch process, SPACE was selected to transform a Grade II listed former bonded warehouse into a clubworking environment to attract the local discerning business community looking for alternative, flexible working solutions to meet their business needs.

Old Bond Store was originally built in 1802 and is located on the Back of the Walls in Southampton. Outwardly industrial, inwardly it has been designed to offer a warm, welcoming, private yet spacious environment over three storeys. Through considered design it retains its historical frame whilst representing a future way of working for businesses as they adapt a clubworking approach giving them all the benefits of a co-working office space but with a higher degree of privacy and quiet space than what you would find in a traditional serviced office. Along with bespoke joinery and intimate lighting, SPACE carefully selected finishes and furniture that compliments the buildings heritage and period features. There is a coffee shop on the top (also generous events space); lounge on the middle floor with a lot of cubby holes where you can have informal meetings. There is a study downstairs for work and the distillery is equivalent to a boardroom with additional areas on the ground floor for hospitality with dedicated food preparation facilities, further meeting spaces and bookable offices. There is a fluidity across the building which helps give people a range of options which they can adapt to suit their needs.
