Barloworld

SPACE designed the UK headquarters for South Africa based conglomerate Barloworld. Taking inspiration from the mining arm of their business, Space created an environment incorporating rich earth-toned colours, dark woods, smoked glass, bronze and copper. Front of house executive spaces feature painted wood panelled walls, leather and marble furniture, plush in-set carpeting, and a subtle interpretation of their logo -represented in a bespoke bronze globe feature wall. SPACE included an art gallery to showcase the client’s impressive collection – tailoring joinery to specific art pieces in the main boardroom. Executive offices and meeting rooms include smoked glass partitions, black stained oak, dark leather seating, and bronze framing. Open plan desking in white with white washed oak laminate tops and dark brown fabric screening.
